About Feedback Journey
What is Feedback Journey?
Feedback Journey is a feedback platform built specifically for IT consultants, freelancers, and knowledge workers. You collect honest, comparable client-satisfaction scores with a short survey after each project, sprint, or workshop — then turn the results into a verifiable Journey Card you can share with future clients. Our purpose is simple: help skilled people prove the quality of their work.
Why we built it
Knowledge workers live and die by their reputation, yet most have no structured way to measure how satisfied their clients really are — or to prove it to the next one. General-purpose tools like SurveyMonkey or Typeform aren't built for the consultant–client relationship, and public review sites only capture a project once it's over. Feedback Journey exists to close that gap.
How does Feedback Journey work?
Feedback Journey runs one simple, repeatable loop:
- Survey. Send a fast, fixed-question survey to the people you worked with. Because the questions are standardized, your results stay comparable over time, across clients, and against other professionals.
- Improvement Goal. Turn a weak spot into a concrete goal, work on it, and track your progress across the next surveys.
- Journey Card. Publish your results as a QR-verifiable Journey Card. It covers a fixed range of surveys and can't be cherry-picked, so a prospective client can trust it — and you can put it in a proposal, CV, or profile.
Who is it for?
- IT consultants and freelance developers — including those serving clients abroad who need to prove their quality across distance.
- Course and workshop facilitators who want fast, honest feedback after each session.
- Small consultancies that need a competitive edge against larger firms.
- The organizations and account managers who hire them, and who want facts instead of guesswork.
What we believe
Honesty over flattery. In Feedback Journey a 10 means "world class," so most scores land between 6 and 10. That makes an average of 8 genuinely meaningful — and far more trustworthy than the inflated five-star ratings people have learned to ignore.
Proof you can verify. Every Journey Card carries a QR code and covers a fixed range of surveys that can't be edited or pruned. Trust is built on transparency, not marketing.
You own your data. In keeping with Nordic values of integrity and transparency, you decide what to collect, what to share, and with whom. Your reputation belongs to you.
Who's behind Feedback Journey?

Feedback Journey is built and run by Jørgen Landsnes, a Norwegian software consultant with a background as a developer, team lead, and CTO. He works in technical due diligence, interim-CTO roles, team development, and architecture, and writes regularly about AI, psychological safety, and continuous improvement. Feedback Journey is built by an IT consultant, for IT consultants — and support is handled personally.
